What this wasThe story

An AI-generated video of a gnome-like imp tiptoeing through a fairy-tale set, posted to Instagram on 27 August 2026, was paired on TikTok on 29 September with Riff Raff's song "Tip Toe Wing in My Jawwdinz". Within days reposts and edits were circulating on TikTok and X, with the imp replaced by other characters and public figures.

NBC News reported on 7 October 2026 that the clip was AI-generated and traced it to the August Instagram upload; on 18 October Jacksonville Jaguars players recreated the dance after a touchdown in London.

Why it matteredWhat changed

Many people who saw it went looking for the 1980s film they thought it came from; there is none, and the search became part of the meme.
