ViralWorld Private preview

Terms

What ViralWorld (viralworld.app) is, what it does not claim, and what it does not promise. Written to be read, and specific to this site rather than borrowed from one that does different things.

What this site is

ViralWorld, published at viralworld.app, is an index and a context layer for media that was published publicly on other platforms. It records what a thing was, when it appeared, what people called it, and where it can still be seen.

It is not a host, a mirror, a repost account, a feed, or a store. No third-party media file is downloaded, copied, or served from here. Where a video can be watched inline, it is the source platform's own player, loaded from that platform only after you press play.

What this site does not claim

No ownership. ViralWorld claims no ownership of, and no rights in, any video, photograph, post, or other work it indexes. Those belong to the people who made them and, where applicable, to the rights holders they have agreed terms with.

Naming is not licensing. Recording a creator, a platform, or a title is a statement about where something came from. It is not a licence, not an endorsement, and not a claim that anyone approved of being indexed.

The editorial writing on these pages — the descriptions, the groupings, the histories, the research about what came first — is ViralWorld's own work. The material it describes is not.

Availability is not ours to promise

The source platform controls whether anything indexed here can still be played. A creator can delete a video, an account can be closed, a platform can restrict a work by region or remove it entirely, and any of that can happen without notice to us and without notice to you.

When that happens the record is kept and the page says the media has gone, because what a thing was and what people called it outlives any one file. A kept record is not a copy: nothing of the work itself is retained.

What is not promised

Attribution and origin are genuinely hard, and this site is sometimes wrong. Re-uploads outnumber originals, upload dates get rewritten, and the copy that went viral is often not the copy that came first.

So nothing here is offered as a warranty that any record is accurate, complete, current, or permanently available. Where only the weaker claim is supportable — the earliest copy we currently know of, rather than the original — the page says so, and will keep saying so until evidence changes it.

Corrections are wanted rather than tolerated. Tell us what is wrong.

Changes

These terms will change as the site does. Material changes will be dated here rather than applied silently.

This build is a private preview. It is not indexed and is not published.
