What this wasThe story

A24 released the teaser for You Can See Everything, Nathan Fielder's documentary about the Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, on 6 September 2026, to coincide with a surprise screening at the Telluride Film Festival. In it Fielder asks Holmes whether she is being real, and she asks him, "Why would I deceive you?"

A24 set the film for cinemas in October 2026.

Why it matteredWhat changed

It is a meme made from a film trailer within days of its release, and its joke depends on who is speaking: a founder convicted of fraud asking why she would deceive anyone.
