What this wasThe story
A cheerful British holiday-airline voiceover, laid over footage of holidays collapsing: floods, injuries, arguments, weather. The gap between the promise and the picture is the whole joke.
It is the clearest example of a sound as a comic device rather than a song — the audio carries a fixed meaning, and every creator supplies a different disaster to sit under it.
TikTok's global song of the summer for 2025, with roughly nine million creations. The voice actress became briefly famous for a recording made years earlier.
